When first viewing the picture I see a shoe dominating the picture. The close-up distance of the shoe let's us see the fine detailing of the shoe and the running sock. The above angle makes me feel like I'm exercising with this athletic person and I quickly look down as I wipe the sweat from my forehead. The black and white photo takes the distraction of color away from the photograph so that I can distinguish from dark and light. Overall this picture evoks a feeling of accomplishment as I'm taking the final stride in a marathon.

Your photo is composed of a running shoe on someone's foot, covering an Adidas sock. A high angle was used, possibly to show the viewer's power over the owner of the shoe, or the insignificance of the foot. The photo was taken a medium distance from the shoe. Being this close to the subject helps to show any details, without losing the entire foot. The shoe is well lit, and the photo doesn't have much shadow. The lack of shadow serves to keep the picture simple and clear. Overall, I think the theme of the picture is to show the things in life that are easily overlooked, and force people to focus on the small things.

The photo is of someone's foot wearing a running shoe. The high angle makes it seem as though the viewer is just someone else at that place looking at the ground. The camera angle is medium, giving the details of the shoe, but still allowing the viewer to see the ground around it. Since the picture is black and white, the white of the shoe laces and places on the shoe make it really stand out against the grey ground. This picture makes me think of just finishing a race and bending over to rest or something.

A foot fills the space of this picture making it a close up. A high angle looks down on the foot and shoe. Black and white is used as opposed to color and it is unsure as to what form of light there is. The close up of this shot puts importance on the foot and the incorporation of the running shoe reminds the viewer of why we have feet. The black and white effect goes along with the theme of simplicity, as feet are the simple and basic way that we move. A high angle reminds us that our feet are below us, holding up our weight. The photographer reminds the viewer that sometimes we may neglect this hardworking underling of a body part.
